Asians come over here and purchase a local property and start a business so they can fund their kid’s Ivy League collegiate career

Middle eastern dudes put their money together in pools so they can buy (and all have part ownership in) a convenience store before they come over here

Hispanics are diligent hard workers who come over the border and HUSTLE until their family is in a comfortable position.

Actual Africans come over here and dominate scholastics and business while maintaining a close knit familial (and friends) relationship.

Also worth noting that all of these cultures don’t actively celebrate and prop up the most negative aspects of their culture. Instead they use every opportunity to allow themselves to be portrayed as better than the average person

Meanwhile blacks been in the same spot for the past several decades coz we waiting on a Superman

ALSO worth noting that the business Middle Easterners and Asians start, are usually profiting off an almost exclusively African American clientele. But how many African Americans you see trying to open up their own beauty store? Not saying it doesn’t happen but we see black women on TV shaking their ass more than we see them opening a business. We see black men on TV dying and hooping more than we see black men be leaders in their communities.

I’m tired of everyone else being the villain, or the reason as to why we can’t rise up. How about we stop purchasing music from hoodrats talking about how they can’t wait to kill another black man for a come up?

How about we start by celebrating blacks in alternative fields (science, arts besides music, economic achievers, maths) instead of propagating and reinforcing the same tired hood nigga hood b**** stereotype currently being circulated in our communities? It’s cool to be a fireman and a police officer. It’s cool to be a nurse or a vet. It’s cool to be an accountant or a insurance agent. But all African Americans see of themselves on TV is (sex, death, and unattainable lifestyles).

If there is going to be a change in the black community, it starts by looking in the mirror. Periodt boo.

All Asian ethnic groups are not financially successful.

Cambodians are one of the most destitute ethnic groups in the united states.

The Hispanic community barely makes more than Black Americans per year, and Mexican people specifically make about the same or $100 less than Black Americans (they're projected to close that gap and surpass us in income soon though)

We can't be comparing our plight to these other groups you mentioned because we literally have a different history. Sure we can start making a change in the images we choose to promote but what is that going to do about the fact we are born into debt because of Jim Crow + Black Codes + etc,. since then which crippled the Black American community.

That's not comparable to people immigrating here with plans already in motion.

If you want to compare (if you have to), the closest would be Native Americans due to our colonial history here in the US (Native Americans and Black Americans are the only groups in the U.S. that aren't immigrants or settlers) and as we can see it's not like they're doing the best either.

Under the current economic system there's not much we can do. The Black Americans that do well end up exploiting the rest of us anyway as Black Capitalists (thanks Reagan)

Yes, as with any population there are poor and rich, but the in comparison with all races, Asian wealth in America is nearing white boy status

Hispanic money (NO DISRESPECT BUT
I TALK IN REALITIES) is largely unmonitored and untraced because just talking in generalities here, there is a large chunk of the Hispanic population that is undocumented therefore they don’t pay taxes therefore they make more money than the black dude they’re washing dishes with. Ya get me? And the fact that it’s a gap at all is embarrassing broski. Like cmon not trying to be offensive or whatever I’m just kicking the s***, but dudes just hopped over fences and made lives for themselves. I gone to high school with niggas who think they gotta start slangin after one bad day.

As for the rest of this we can't do this lmao. When you start a race 500m behind the start line at some point you have to stop trying to compete with your neighbor and start trying to figure out how to make the race more fair to begin with.

"Here’s the deal: in a nutshell, every other group lives in a context of violence which has what I would call a sort of psychological grounding wire, which means that they can write a sentence about why they are experiencing that violence. Native Americans can write a sentence that says ‘I’m experiencing violence because this is an ongoing tactic within a strategy of colonization’. White feminists can say the same, that ‘this is an ongoing tactic within a strategy of patriarchy’. For a Black person to try and emulate that kind of interpretive lens, the problem becomes a lot bigger.

For us this is the ongoing tactic of a strategy for human renewal. The violence against us becomes a tactic within a strategy to secure Humanity’s place. It’s not a tactic in an ongoing strategy to take our land away, or to take our rights away. We never had any rights. The other thing is that our psyche does not obey the objective laws of the structure. The simple way of putting that would be to say that we exist in an external superviolence, and we exist in an internal soup which has self-hatred as one of its main components.
