Shabazz999the current reverse great migration is also due to lack of opportunities, not just cost of living. literally look at the list of cities with the best economies for black people, cities like atlanta, raleigh and charlotte are always at the top of those lists whereas the black unemployment and poverty rates are sky high across the rust belt and east coast.
and flourish because in a state where we are 55% of the population (like mississippi would be if chicago's black population alone relocated there) we would elect politicians who would invest in black businesses and public schools, ensure that our hbcu's (which are mostly in the south) receive equal funding as pwi's, create programs to end black homelessness, rewrite discriminatory laws and secure reparations.

Atlanta is also very overrated in terms of “economic success for black people”. I mean sure if you’re an entrepreneur or want some kind of career in acting music etc then yeah you’ll get plenty of opportunities but outside of that it’s like any other big city in terms of jobs. I’m also sure that’s just for the actual city of Atlanta and not the metro Atlanta area. Cant speak for the other 2 as I don’t know for certain what it’s like.Would those politicians do that? Who are they? First we need to find that out. Like I said if it were this simple I’m sure it would have been put into some type of action but it’s just not realistic without some type of plan of action
