why do you suppose they're mixed?
They are the first settlers in most African regions,, they came before the Bantu and spread across Southern Africa
and when do you think this mixture happened? in Eurasia?
the only mixture here is in the name Khoisan... which puts together the names Khoi Khoi and San.
Khoisan was introduced as a all-inclusive name for the "non-Bantu" indigenous peoples of Southern Africa
The two groups aren't even fond of each other to this day and have lived in separation since coming to Africa about 2 000 years ago.
I’m working w the commissioner of my city on a project. I have no clue who she is outside of she’s a sista. I’m unsure of what to ask or converse with but it would be ideal to leave a positive and lasting impression on her.
Working on the details but wanted to share with the folk
Just chop it up to see if she’s a coon or not. Any even if she is you can still work w her, you just have to be more careful
Soupy dropping knowledge.
Right on time too, started skimming through some of the South African history books I've had on the list.
I mean Pacific Islanders do be looking black
Not gonna lie live in Honolulu and kicking it with the natives feel like kicking it with black folk but I do think they are of asian decent
its a unique place, niggas there be killing other africans because they’re “taking their jobs and raping their women”

keep me posted on that!
if you haven't already, add some Martin Meredith books to that list
also important to read up on the history of Namibia and South Africa after the Germans left what was then South West Africa. I've noticed some books leave that part out
Here to remind my beautiful black kings and queens that we got this s*** on lock
Never doubt yourselves.
A question for y’all: how many of y’all don’t say “nigga” that much.
I’m cutting back on how much I say it. I’ve resorted back to calling other black men brother and bruh and s*** instead of “nigga” it’s ignorance personified.
How do y’all feel about it?
I use nigga daily but i’ve been working on using ”King” when talking to close friends and have done so alot lately.
”Wadap King”
”Wya King”
Etc.

King? That’s doin too much
Thats only for really really close people.
Took that from Joe Budden. I noticed how he calls black people that are close to him ”King”.
Im not calling randoms that tho. Only close friends. Nigga is one of my favourite words to use and i’ll never stop using it.
Im a funny nigga irl so it works in my favour. When i call people ”king” they think im playing
Im also heavy on ”Ninja”

someone deleted their post, sure but that doesn’t justify target killings / attacks on foreign africans

not justifying anything but this idea that there's some allyship among african's who live on the continent based on being from there has never been the reality. Go an tell an Igbo person who had family that lived through the Biafran Civil War to go be pals with some Hausa folk.
