just came here to say that I'm not black (or that's how I used to perceive it) I'm from morocco actually, never had a problem with racism until a couple months some racist ass berbers on ig been telling me I'm not native to morocco and I have subsaharian slave blood and I'm mixed breed and sum more dumb s*** , which actually made me like ''ok? i guess'' always ignored this problem until now, really feel dumb tbh just got another palestinian (i think) calling it to me with the hard -r

I believe that this "it's not all black women, it's only the ugly ones and non American black women or non black trolls" is a coping mechanism for what's happening right now

I mean we can say that losers are only ugly men but that didn't stop them from being growing in numbers and mgtow movement popping off etc

Yes, the reason why those lsa posters are bitter is most likely their looks

so only black people blessed by the genetic lottery are allowed to prosper in society or are we gonna tackle colorism head on?

They're brainwashing young people into believing the reason they're ugly is skintone sad part is they have a s*** ton of personal bad experiences and examples in the mainstream to confirm their bias

Ie: every black celeb that publicly slighted darker skinned women not because they're "ugly" but because they're darker skinned.

I believe that the solution lies in addressing the problem head on and finding out how to teach black youth about how this society wants them brainwashed and thinking they're less than...

Only "protecting" the black women you want to f*** only furthers their point if you'd ask me

People don't wake up insecure for no reason, yt channels and forums wouldn't exist with no evidence of colorism in media and every day life, they mastered the indoctrination process.

I find it funny that insecurities related to women's bodies (too skinny, too fat) were adressed no problem but insecurities related to skintone are sometimes treated as a figment of their imagination which in result makes them turn to echo chambers/social media

Believing that they are majority non American black women :

• not only do we not have numbers on that but western society ills affects all black women the same, shifting blame for this issue onto tribalism isn't a good idea.

• Rest assured that when they say black they mean black men from all corners of the western hemisphere (not because they're targeting African Americans but because they only know western society)

• Making it seem like they're is an agenda to undermine black men for no reason at all is deflecting of what the issue actually is... They're doing this out of pure hate they received.

• This issue is a direct offspring of people neglecting how black women feel about their position in western society (years of colorism in mainstream media, lightskinned vs dark-skinned on Twitter etc)

Now the way they're "handling" it is despicable imo the only good that comes from their bitterness is turning away most people but they're def also recruiting and have been for a while now.

Sad that this discussion is even to be had tbh, as black people we should coordinate efforts to help eachother prosper not infighting with gender wars and turf wars...

it starting to realize “black love” will be a virtually impossible task, because our understanding of blackness is so skewed

i mean what is blackness but an arbitrary label that lumps us all together as one race. i love all black ppl, but not all skin folk my kin folk you feel me.

i think we gotta focus on carving our own identity and redefining what we know as “community”

i will always want to be around black and brown folk the most. but i think i’m done goiing out of my way to make “black” friends and just prioritizing making friends who identify with what i identify with. it’s made me a little bit less angry and it don’t mean that i’m out here with a bunch of yt friends. it just allows for me to have a diverse group of friends that i can fall back on for diff things

Had a friend accuse me of only liking lightskin women because I don't wanna have s***with her and she's saying it's because she's dark...just can't possibly be because we've been platonic friends for 5 years and never shown any sexual interest in one another before

Like I understand colorism exists and it impacts both black men and black women. But why do black women get so heated whenever they see any black man with a lightskin girl? For some reason it can never be that the two just love one another, nah it's gotta be because "she's pretty and lightskin"...as if it ain't black love that's gonna lead to more black babies regardless

As someone who was raised to be an individual that has always been an underlying problem for me.
