Pakistan & Bangladesh have VERY cordial relations (they’re both Muslim countries). Like, above neutral (almost friends). Bangladesh was literally called East Pakistan at one point lol. My cousin also married a Bengali.

The true complication is, Pakistanis from the east of the country (like my moms side) are of Punjabi ethnicity (Punjab is provincially split in two, Pakistani Punjabis are usually Muslims, Indian Punjabis are Sikhs, the people who wear turbans). We’re VERY entrenched in old Indian traditions such as clan-systems, culture & language, therefore have LESS problems with Indian/Bengali people, because we understand them more.

West Pakistanis are descendants of Iranians/Afghanis. North Pakistanis are descendants of Afghans/Russians. Southern Pakistanis have SOME/FEW Arab lineage.
