Are people disliking it? First two episodes so far are better than anything from last two seasons

I've seen some bad reviews and some people s***ting on it, but I don't know if that's the major consensus to be fair

It was my unpopular, hipster opinion that Black Mirror got a little generic when the americans/Netflix found out about it.

They took away what made it unique and leaned wayy too into the “technology bad” aspect of it without any of the heart. Don’t get me wrong, San Junipero and a few others are dope but they lost the plot a while ago

I remember the first couple seasons were full of bangers

Sometime down the road it turned s***ty and never tuned into recent seasons anymore

Episode 3 was fire too. What are people on about

Nvm 4th episode was ASS

First episode was solid, a little trippy.
2nd episode was good but it didn't really feel like a black mirror episode.

This season was way better than the last

Nothing touches the absolute peak of the show, which is fine. Definitely encourage people to watch!

that first episode was just, ehhh

damn this isn't really making much noise. too much stuff on tv? too long a gap between seasons? quality of the low-points last season took a hit to the fanbase? modern society reaching such a dejected place of alienation that we've evolved (or devolved) past the need for black mirror?

Loch Henry, beyond the sea and demon 79 are the standouts

its always like that with this show bro

S5 is worth it just for Striking Vipers alone
(smithereens is the 2nd best of that season and Ashely-O episode needs to be forgottoen about)
