I was getting my ass kicked by the yellow wind sage so I took a break and started exploring the map and dawg there is SO much s*** to find… this game rewards you for exploration in a major way is all I’ll say

I ended up going to performance because it’s not really a huge step down from graphics mode visually

I went with that to , I saw one guy yapping hard about the frame rate and lag issues so wasn’t too sure

They showed a ton of footage and I'm like if that s*** ain't real thats a hell of a lot of work to put into something fake//not actually coming etc

I hate this boss design where it feels like I’m just dodging waiting for a chance to attack and then I see my opening and attack and the boss dodges it and then we repeat and it just feels too repetitive

i think it’s like that cause you can easily stun them but some bosses will be more annoying than others

In the fast travel list, if an area is labeled secret does that mean it’s optional?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you just need to activate the cutscenes that are pivotal to story progression for each chapter, you can probably skip 60% of bosses in the game if you wanted to

definitely leaning towards this game being on the easy side. just beat tiger vanguard (1 try) and complete chapter 2 right at 7 hours. i've been beating every boss on the first or second try, except for wondering wright but that felt like an early game skill check

i'm using pretty much the same strategy on every boss and it works every time. immobilize, build 2 focus points, resolute strike + follow up, red tides and then build 2 focus points and resolute strike + follow up and repeat over and over again. doesn't even really matter if you get the parry buff on resolute strike or not cause if you're aggressive enough you'll pretty much always have the boss staggered

i'm really enjoying the game though. just waiting for the difficultly to pick up a bit
