People were always going to find something to be fake outraged about. No one really cares. Her being BP for a few years, including through a major Avengers event arc is more than they had her doing in comics
Shuri was queen and ruling Black Panther during Hickman's Avengers run and they still had T'Challa as the main guy.

Shuri is gonna be Black Panther in three movies. The same as T'Challa I.
She was always meant to be a temporary Black Panther. Same as she is/was in the comics.

Shuri was never supposed to be the main BP. She was obviously a placeholder until they could build up T'Challa's story again. He is THE Black Panther. This is like if RDJ died after first Iron Man movie and they introduced Pepper Potts as Iron Man to be the main Iron Man
But I think the reason for some don't understand this, is because they don't know T'Challa is one of the big heroes in comics with Peter Parker, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Thor.
