since I went to a Noname show and saw majority of white men, I don’t even entertain these discussions much anymore.
Black folk obviously don’t support our artist like we think we do.
@Elric post the Scratch Perry quote
You know mfs gotta be obtuse like they don't understand what he's saying lol.
Black people mad at this have a guilty conscience about letting mainstream R&B die
And let’s not forget why we’re all here bc people are responding to the thread title as well lol
First words in the thread title is “black rap fans are mad” and everybody just casually replying like niggas really that pressed lmao
everybody just casually replying
Several posts noting that this is just one idiot Twitter user. Like everyone sees this thread for what it is. Nonsense.
One of the reasons Hip Hop is struggling in the mainstream right now is because Latinos are gravitating towards Mexican Music and Reggaeton. Look at the charts in places like LA and Houston. It’s all Spanish music. They’re not listening to Young Thug and Gunna.
that’s more so young thug and humans fault for being ass lol. I mean cmon bro reslly
he's just saying to show love to Mexicans as people that have supported and helped build the culture. I don't understand how there's anything remotely controversial about this
Latinx lol, most Hispanic people living where Im at don't like being called that
Wait did bro get banned LMFAOOO

"It wouldn't be L.A. without Mexicans Black love, Brown Pride in the sets again."
Fire
@Elric post the Scratch Perry quote
"Jamaicans didn't give a f*** about my music untill white people started listening to it" or something to that effect
Also, 50 Cent was the first rapper I can recall who truly embraced the Latin market by collabing with Reggaeton artists like Daddy Yankee and Wisin & Yandel early on and going to countries like Colombia, DR, Brazil, Peru, Panama, etc. to tour shows.
IIRC, 50 and G-Unit did a whole stadium show out in Peru back in like 2009.
It didn't get too much fame in US but there was a now cult classic hip hop+reggaeton album called Boricua Guerrero in 1997 that featured Busta, Nas, Q Tip & Fat Joe. Nas and Daddy Yankee, then known by a different name(Winchester 30/30) collabed on a rap track. Not sure if it's the first time those genres mixed like that but its one of the first times for sure.
Jay tried to hop on and signed a big star's(Hector) to be under the ROC umbrella around 04/05 but I think 50 might've had him beat by then(also R. Kelly). But to his credit Jay hopped on a reggaeton track, even if its just a bridge and hook lol
