I’m not convinced Kanye was veering towards anti semitism and nazi infatuation in the Yeezus era. I think it’d be more appropriate to place the origins of that at some point between the Pablo tour, when he start being outspoken politically in a different way, and the making of Ye-KSG-Daytona-KTSE.
2015-2016 is around the time (a) the alt right stuff on the internet entered the mainstream and he could’ve been going down internet rabbit holes; and (b) he started getting checked into hospitals and medicated and stuff. By 2017-2018 he was MAGA infatuated (not saying they’re all nazis, even Alex f***in Jones had a problem with that), and this was also when the Ryder Ripps claim about Kanye being infatuated with Hitler would’ve happened.
This is also when he went down this weird Christian non secular thing with JIK coming out in ‘19, which is also around the time the old alt right kinda disappeared and it became more about the Christian Catholic far right.
Of course, by Yeezus he was also wearing confederate flags, but I don’t think that was him on his racist s*** yet- I think he was kinda jacking that one artist’s style who worked on Yeezus, and was just trying to be inflammatory for its own sake then.
