(Obviously black radicalism still exists but no where to the degree where it did at its peak)

for my black ktt users I wanna know how you think we can revive the black radical tradition in 2026 and take back the leadership of our community from complacent and assimilationist elements within the community (democrats, black republicans etc).

Outside of those previously listed elements why modern obstacles do we face in terms of making black radical thought widespread both within and outside of our community?

What modern individuals/orgs are pushing black radicalism?

in a nutshell black capitalism and the whole “pull your pants up” respectability politics movement that started in the 80s (clarance thomas ass niggas like bill cosby, Al sharpton etc) destroyed whatever was left of the black radicalism movement and to get that back we have to destroy those two things
