Damn, YG really are bad, Twice released 2 mini albums in 2019 6 and 7 tracks long. The ALBUM, more like the MINI album.
Yes, Jisoo is Lisa's mother, Rose and Jennie are Lisa's daughters. They are truly a family.

LOONA are about to release a mini album in a few weeks that's as long as this and that's after releasing one earlier this year

I want to say that YG treats Blackpink the same way as non-kpop fans think labels treat all the bands, but that as I understand I would be wrong, because they not overwork BP, but underwork them.

yeah SM would be a better company to prescribe that with.
the girls themselves are living pretty well tbh, they barely do any comebacks or variety content and spend most of the year doing modelling on IG, although iirc they have expressed interest in wanting to have more comebacks and do more musically.
I've said this before but I wouldn't at all be surprised if as soon as that 7 year contract ends none of them renew with YG and will instead focus on their various solo ventures, especially since by then YG will have debuted another girl group and they'll shift that focus onto them (again we saw what happened w/ 2ne1).
he's joking
Lisa is from Thailand, Jennie is from Seoul (though raised in NZ), Rose is from NZ and Jisoo is from Seoul
they're all around the same age as well (23-25)

Jennie and Jisso are (well Jennie was born there at least) and Rose herself is at least Korean. Lisa however yes is Thai.
Most k-pop idols are Korean/from Korea however there's quite a few that are of different ethnicities/from different countries, be it Chinese, Japanese, ect/America, Canada, ect. A lot of the time this can be a bonus as it makes marketing to other countries easier (EXO is a great example of this)
Really all that matters is that you speak/sing in Korean fluently (and even then there are some that aren't extremely fluent in it).

As I understand they only have two more years with YG, I hope they continue to pursue music more then modelling, it's a pity if they spent so many years training just to end up as models.

2023
and yes but a lot of groups renew contracts, for example I think Mamamoo will def renew once their contract is up next year. Again I don't think the girls will go the route of renewing though.

Are there any cases when kpop group went to another label and started under other name?

After leaving cube BEAST formed their own company and Re-debuted as highlight. That’s the only example that comes to mind really, in that case they had to rebrand because Cube owned the patent to the branding of beast after the members contract ended, I doubt the girls would do that though, it’s quite a complicated process, they’d most likely rather just renew for a few years in that case.
Some of them could of course also just renew as soloists under YG but idk if that would happen lol, I also doubt all of them will continue with music, for example I think Jisoo will put her entire focus into acting.
i’m confused... is the album titled Lovesick Girls or just a single
title tracks are basically the ones that get promoted the most with a mv and multiple performance videos. the album is called "THE ALBUM" and Lovesick Girls will be the lead off of it

as said above yeah, a title track just means the promoted single from the album in k-pop.
love sick girls would probs be a better album title than the one we've actually got though lol

Would be a much better album title
yea the album is such a lazy ass name like they're already giving us only 8 tracks why not put more effort in the name
