Kinda like different facets of electronic music

Cyberkiss is like this hyperpop (for lack of better word or maybe u agree), alternative hip hop album

Sam Gellaitry is more traditional electronic

And drake was jumping into the pool after dipping his toes with the dance music

i guess the general idea for cyberkiss* Was to just have our electronic and rnb influence fuse production wise thats what i said when i first pitched the idea.

But some stuff in it is straight rap, and some is rock like cardigan, boycott, even pink starz, then like express yourself is jazz

but a lot of it was influenced by electronic and rnb music, like even peach cobbler was initially inspired by a Kaytranada song

Also im sooo glad the album sticks with you that much and ranks that high for u fr. Its our first time seeing people have us in their top 5 oty, a lot of times we be to be excited to make a top 100 end of the year lmao

Of course! Really liking Peach Cobbler on the latest listen. It has a sort of watching the sunset on a rooftop vibe which I love

its so dope to see people saying they’re coming around to different songs because after puppies i got really inspired by albums like velvet rope, speakerbox/love below, stankonia because on those albums i started off liking certain songs like ill use love below for example at first my favorite songs were hey ya! spread roses prototype but now my favs are shes alive love in war my favorite things love hater

because when its a bigger project it gives you more to get into over the years and allows for deep cuts to become favs because the initial favs like nuyork, cyberkis etc are obvious and i wanna keep doing s*** like that.

i wanna really build up hype next year then drop a really solid concise 12-14 song album in 2024 and have like a flower boy moment where its the cleanest most realized version of the sound and has our biggest songs ever but after that i wanna do like a super musical super creative double disc that really has everything we love in it
