Our homies Jeremiah and Jake and we’re about to start working w Daniel Ruiz who did the art on the drop dead albums. Its a little busy and getting hard to reply to everyone but still nothing crazy and its fun, the hardest part id say is just dealing w the pandemic and not being able to perform

DD is still its own thing. We all collab on solo stuff a lot, multiple members are releasing projects these next months and i’m on all of them. But some of the guys are more focused on like just getting jobs and stuff and not doing music so we aren’t really making any more albums, at least not for a while. It was super time consuming and expensive for us, but we’re all still friends

good to hear. Is DH supplying you with any help on the music end in terms of maybe studio time, mixing engineer, co-writing etc or is the creation process staying the exact same?

They give us anything we ask for in the regard, we’ve also had some pretty big producers reach out thats had me like but i think we plan on still doing all the writing, production, mixing, and most of the visuals on our 0 budget. Just us

As far as on BSK none honestly probably not gonna outsource and treat it like a band

But like for me in general? Toro, Dev, Jack Antonoff, Chuck Inglish, Pharrell come to my mind. Also a big goal of mine to have a Smuckers type moment w T & Earl

just my opinion, i would take advantage of that opportunity and get someone to mix your music, somebody who specializes as a mixing engineer

you guys could of course still mix your own music up to the point you do now, so it has all the creative touches you guys do, and then pass it on to a mixing engineer. you might be surprised what that could do, just a thought
