i haven't watched any previews i've only seen the trailer, i didn't wanna spoil any of the gameplay by seeing game previews

and looking at youtube this seems to have at least 15 minutes of gameplay out, which is better than most games

so again i don't really see where you were going with having me name more games lol

space marine overall looks solid but will have issues with online and coop I am hearing. I am still rooting for it

this is from an independent game company

one is from a first party studio who has made multiple astro bot entries and the other is a new IP from an independent studio

There's AAA that I don't buy based off what I see, doesn't really have much to do with the budget or experience of a studio. Just if I think I'll enjoy the game and want to buy it

Star Wars Outlaws again is made by a triple A company. You are showing me Youtube comements from again gamers who act like 60$ for a high budget 30 hour experience is pulling teeth from an indie company.

animations isnt a gameplay mechanic by the way so when someone ask you what do you think looks bad mechanically about a game they are more asking about how the game actually plays

Gunplay in this currently looks like it could be slightly more responsive. AI doesn't look bad.

Those are mechanics that affect gameplay not just visuals. Cause game of course looks pretty but what is going to hook it for people is the mechanics not just the portals

That's also a ton of exaggeration, PC players especially love those indies, it's always multiple indies getting supported on PC and selling great yearly. Celeste, Balataro, pizza tower, even that scam Star Citizen, list goes on of successful and beloved indie titles.

Nigga I work on Mortal Kombat. I have friends working on indie or smaller team games. I know word of mouth matters. When a bunch of gamers in the comments are like "wow this is just a tech demo this isnt last of us or mgs " when in the article the dev openly says they are a small team inspired by games like that its baffling. Gamers refuse to read or take in any form of information. Its "I can tell by gameplay of a game that is multiple years away its not for me and I need to announce it because you guys cant tell this is clearly early in development with an alpha watermark on it".

I genuinely dont like dismissing games. Black Myth Wukong got called a fake game and tech demo for years. Its the number 2 most played game on steam ever. Its about waiting and seeing which I am agreed to. But no alpha of a game am I going to be like "wow these animations stiff" of a small ass team. Battlebit has better than most triple A games have you played it ? remnant 2 have you played it? does the gameplay trailer even make it to your eyes?
