    Hope they dont f*** this up

  • wtf is "Shining Girls?"

    seriously you hand the reins of Blade Runner over to the showrunner of... whatever that is? like this isn't a gender thing or some dumb s***, I'm just saying you need someone at the helm who has an established body of work and feels like a good fit for this world.

    def lost excitement for this

    OG had the better ending imo

    The tears in the rain monologue >>>

    The last shot of the crane oragami could’ve damn well have been the influence to Inception last shot

    Outside of the ending, visuals, and atmosphere the story is basically a 2000s video game story of here’s a list of people find them and kill them

    I enjoy the movie for what it is tho and have fun entering that world every now and then

    He’s old asl I don’t think replicants age

    I don’t think that kills the theory tbh. Maybe Rachel could have aged as well but died during childbirth. Rachel was really the only Nexus 7 replicant to have existed besides the possibly of maybe Deckard. With that generation of replicant just being a prototype or two Tyrell could have experimented with a bunch of s*** since he already cracked the code with reproducing

    This gonna be good

    2049 for me is a much better movie than the original Blade Runner from top to bottom. The original Blade Runner has probably the worst pacing I've ever had to witness in a movie

    Yea the OG ending is amazing.

    2049 has a better buildup but I’ve always felt like it ends abruptly. Had me pretty confused on first watch how they introduce Wallace as a villain and throw in concepts like a replicant rebellion in the 3rd act and then nothing really happens with them.

    SUPERMAN

    Are we ready to talk about Ana De Armis

    Cool thing about Ana’s character is that she can be included in pretty much any Blade Runner story now. She might be too famous for a starring role in this tho. But it would be fun if they film some cameos/background shots with her. Probably have content to reuse from 2049 as well.

    I think there's at least one sequence missing at the end - after K saves Deckard from the car in the water, but before they go off to see his daughter. They shot something with Ford and Gosling sitting by the sea wall as the sun rises, some convo with them, but for whatever reason they cut the whole scene.

    I’d assume they wanted to use him as an overarching villain for a sequel that never came. Doubt we’ll see him in 2099, but you never know.
