I forget why he changed it exactly but I think its because during that era he was moving away from the cloud rap/witch house stuff toward working on dying production

That's fair, he's notoriously difficult to get into due to his unique style but that's also why he's got one of the biggest cult followings in hip hop

A lot of people's first reaction is that he sucks, but after repeated listens you start to like it, and when you get into it there really isn't anything like his music

my friend said the same thing and his voice and delivery being off-putting is the most common complaint i hear from ppl. that being said, i can't see how this is bad he actually saying some real s*** and him and lean are at their peak when it comes to rapping, rap was never their strong point, especially bladee he was always more of a melodic artist to me but he surprised the s*** out of me on this. he doin some really unorthadox stuff with his vocals, the samples are weird as s*** and its just an overall unqiue experience imo
