I want to bleach my hair so much that its like platinum/white blonde.. but everything seems to be closed. I've been looking online on how to do it, but everything seems so expensive... does anybody here have any tips? Or any experience with bleaching at home?

You could have it now or you could have it done well sometimes waiting is the best thing you can do and if it gets too long you could always have it trimmed

i texted my guy and hes closed until this virus stops
I actually bleached it myself a week ago (I initially had a friend do it for me a couple weeks back before quarantine, but i only did it half way so it was still kinda dark/orangey)
It's pretty simple and just have to make sure you follow instructions + it would help to have someone to at least make sure youre covering your hair evenly and timing everything right.
All you need is the actual bleach (bought some off ebay), developer, and a toner (optional). The latter two i got from a beauty store, but I'm sure you can find them online if you really wanted

Yessir, so like the other poster said if you wanted to wait you can find everything at sally's
first round of bleach my friend used SalonCare Quick White powder bleach. Second time, I went with a $20 bucket of Loreal Quick Blue I found on ebay. Most powder bleach is the same, just make sure u use the good salon-grade stuff
For the developer, I used SalonCare 20 volume. The numbers dictate how strong/fast it should bleach. I think it usually ranges from 10-40 with 40 being the stronger option. Since I have virgin hair I wanted to make sure I didn't do anything too intense so I recommend 20-30. I also wanted an ashy/grey-ish blonde so I used Wella T18 toner after getting to the desired level of lightness from the bleach
Additionally, I used Fanola purple shampoo before toning just as an added step. It's supposed to help remove any unwanted brasiness (tbh didn't work that much before or after toning)
You should also probably have some good ass conditioner on hand that youll want to use asap cause ur hair is gonna be dead as hell
