get on your phone and google "RVA nightlife". whatever is closest to you and looks interesting go there and socialize/hangout. pretty sure you got friends/co-workers your age (i f***ing hope you do). go with them and f*** it up. just enjoy yourself and you'll end up having some stories to tell and not just talk about the s*** you like on the internet, that only goes so far unless you meet an introverted girl who's similar to you. as for the photography go out on a walk and look for some cool spots to take pics (maybe you see someone who looks interesting and ask if you can take a pic of them) . the point of this is to get yourself comfortable with approaching people in general and not focused on just girls. don't put them on a pedestal, it's weird af and makes you seem desperate.

Bro that’s the worst part they were lying and told me later on in life but it really made me feel like I had arrested development or something lol
