This will be a song played for decades and decades, in time will be known as his biggest hit
“After Hours was always meant to be a very personal project. It's a story I had to tell," The Weeknd muses to Billboard. "The fact I've been able to tell it with the world listening is incredible. This Billboard chart record is truly a result of the fans. I'm so humbled and forever grateful to them.”
Don’t y’all get tired of downplaying Abels success?
Is that not a realistic statement?
So it’s the first single ever to do this and it happened during a pandemic year, seems pretty logical to me lol

Fallacies are common errors in reasoning that will undermine the logic of your argument. Fallacies can be either illegitimate arguments or irrelevant points, and are often identified because they lack evidence that supports their claim:
Post hoc ergo propter hoc:
This is a conclusion that assumes that if 'A' occurred after 'B' then 'B' must have caused 'A.'
Why didn't the pandemic help out other singles? Why Did it only help BL?

You typed all that for????
Weeknd timed BL perfectly how is that so hard to see. AH was in full rollout mode before the pandemic happened and BL dropped in November 2019, giving it enough time to build momentum before February/March when the pandemic started. LIG was a hit but that was in January, it could’ve been bigger but no album announcement or anything to keep the momentum going. Then other major artist were reluctant to drop music as well.
So for the first time ever, this is including artist like MJ....that a song remained in the top 10 all year on Billboard didn’t have any luck? BL is a huge success I’m not denying that. But these ridiculous chart stats don’t tell the whole story.
