Anyone else code in .sol or work with any of the many chains out there with dev support?
Tons of hackathons and free giveaways for any serious projects out there
Never looked into blockchain, have no idea how it works.

I gotta see what it’s about. I’ve heard the word a lot but never looked into it.

Long story short it’s basically a way of keeping information integrity
this but unironically
I was only being like half ironic s*** is super energy inefficient

How did you get started in it?
How did you get started in it?
was involved in ETH dapps and started learning about web3 and how it was used on sites
a lot of the early dAPPS are html + js + css so it's pretty easy to get the hang of
the sol code for the smart contract and its variables are barely changed
when actual large representative sums of money in the form of these smart contracts and ETH is involved it's pretty fun to learn

Nice, need to get started in this in some way. Are you @0 too or is that someone else?
been building a solidity project hardcore for the past 3 weeks for a hackathon. surprised by how easy it is to develop on ethereum and how clear solidity is. surprised we don't have better dapps already.

bro that's awesome, i'd love to connect sometime if you're up for it.
i think there's tons of work being done on the enterprise side, but sadly consumer dapps have been ponzis or gambling mainly. finally defi is starting to take off now though
what are you building for? work? or just a personal idea?

yeah sure
its for a big blockchain hackathon here in london, im entering with a group so we're building for that. ill definitely be open to building more personal ideas out on ethereum now though
what is blockchain / sol
blockchain is just like... peer to peer trading with no middleman? it doesn't necessarily have to be with cryptocurrencies, but most of the time it is, right?
how is sol interconnected with blockchain? is solidity the programming language to create blockchains?
edit: freecodecamp.org/news/what-is-blockchain-and-how-does-it-work
kind of a s***ty explanation on this site but does the job
