“Lamar and some of his creative posse spent a day listening almost exclusively to Frank Ocean's Blonde”
Only things I found so far.. haven’t searched the rest of the names
Oh, nice
How did it influence those people? What album of theirs draws on/is reminiscent of Blond?
YAH was inspired by blonde
Cant remember who said this tho
The phrase “of all time” probably needs to be banned from use on this site. People would actually need to discuss the music rather than whatever this thread is.
Cap
You're telling me I don't know two people over 40 who love Blonde?
Lol okayy
Claiming something is the "one and only best" of all time is stupid because once you get to like the top 100 it's all the same quality but which ones you think are the BEST are going to be based on taste
Everyone agrees What's Going On and Sgt Pepper are both amazing but some people are gonna say Pepper is #1 and Marvin is #40 but someone else would have the exact opposite take just because of personal preference
But also everyone saying that anyone who calls Blonde a classic hasn't heard other albums is f***ing stupid lol just because something is semi-recent and popular doesn't mean it can't be a classic you don't have to wait 20 years to start praising things. Blonde has been relevant and popular and has established a legacy for over half a decade that's classic territory
The way normal vocals from background pick up on a chorus when pitched verse ends in Nights 2nd half
