zadie smith (british novelist) - not sure if she's all of the female vocals tho
Sounded line Snoh Aalegra to me
Breh certain cello moments on here sounds like music from the guy in my avi and I know it’s not coincidental

Some people are going to be cold on this album but I feel like I'm on its wavelength. One of those great weirdo R&B experiments in the lineage of Blonde and When I Get Home, but with a ton of Arthur Russell influence those albums didn't have. It's a really lovely but disquieting dreamscape.
There are a lot of great moments here, but I love the opening four track run the most. It swept me away immediately and I never lost interest.
Man Dev has done it again, this album is incredible. I need to dig further into the lyrics but string arrangements, subtle background instruments and overall production are so beautiful. This will definitely be up there as one of my fav albums this year
Tirzah sounds great on Life, fits the production so well. My favorite vocalist on this so far
The Train (King's Cross) is a good track too, his vocals don't bother me much on that one lol simple, upbeat tune
Production on Vivid Light is nice
The vocals be taking me out the songs man
Vocals don't bother me at this point lol just used to that style from him after the last few albums...really just about the vibes, production, and lyrics to me with some dope harmonies
