Bloodshot is a 2020 American superhero film based on the Valiant Comics character of the same name. It is intended to be the first installment in a series of films set within a Valiant Comics shared cinematic universe. Directed by David S. F. Wilson (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer and a story by Wadlow, the film stars Vin Diesel, Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, and Guy Pearce. It follows a Marine who was killed-in-action, only to be brought back to life with superpowers by an organization that wants to use him as a weapon.

Horrible movie, from s***ty source material to begin with.

the problem was vin diesel and the lack of experience of the director and they also needed to tweak the script

the story even tho cliched could have worked if they didn't reveal the twist so soon ( they even reveal it in the trailers ffs )

if they made us care more about the main guy, I imagined Adam Driver playing the main guy ( he's a former marine which helps a lot )

I thought Guy Pearce was actually not bad, Eiza González was the best character in this tho

and vin diesel is just terrible, having him as bloodshot killed any chance of this being good from the beginning

So ficking awful lmao I watched it on the flight the other day it started ok and had a cool concept but gets worse every minute

Diesel is such a damn bad actor and the action is shot so bad it makes it painfully obvious its all cgi and stunt doubles doing all the work.

And the idea of the government spending billions of dollars on this project and yet only having one doctor and like 3 of his experiments keeping an eye on the whole thing

And despite that the doctor let's the chick that's constantly disobeying him and questioning him stick around and then being shocked when she turns on him

Dear God this was stupid, and vin diesels cringey "I always come back" and "told you I'd find you" catchphrases, I thought they stopped greenlighting this type of lazy cheese after the 90s Stallone days lolll
