Who are some good/funny people to follow? Seems pretty barren atm. Lots of animal crossing types if you catch my drift

And with the UK coming after Elon over hate content on Twitter that led more people moving to Bluesky, it's only a matter of time before we see another mass migration to Bluesky.

I think we'll see Europeans doing a mass migration, unless he pisses off an Asian country before then.

Requiring a separate app from IG made it DOA imo

Literally the best part about it. It's not even all that separate either. If you gotta IG you can just tap the logo on someone's Threads profile it'll take you right to their IG and vice versa. You also don't need an IG to have Threads.

That’s why I never signed up personally. I wanted an account to s*** post with - not an account linked to my IG

Not saying anything about its usability, I'm sure it's fine. Just think it went under the radar initially because it was a Twitter clone with little connection to IG

Lost a lot of momentum it could have had b/c of that
