  • Bodak Yellow gets the women hype af and it is a legitimately entertaining song. Extremely simple, but it goes hard, makes the girls start feeling themselves they get hype and all that. Dudes can definitely enjoy the song as well as it is more or less just a diet version of No Flockin. Even a diet version of that song is good.

Bodak Yellow just has way more appeal. Like Pharrell said, "If women f*** with your s***, you gotta hit". And that's very much the case with Bodak Yellow. I'm sure there are women who like No Flockin of course, but Bodak Yellow just very clearly appeals to women more than No Flockin

Personally I like Bodak Yellow more simply because Kodak Black's voice is annoying as all f*** to me. Playing that in my car I can only take so much of No Flockin before I turn that s*** off.

Somewhat related, but I’ve always believed “Skrt” is the superior mainstream Kodak song. It’s quintessential nighttime music.

The impact of that song is actually the reason the whole female wave exists rights now.

Without that song Cardi wouldn’t get the love she got that propelled her to this level after her a bunch of females that were “held” down by nicki came up. The labels started signing female rappers etc
