It wasn't a max 8 (the ones that crashed due to cost-cutting before)

It was a regular 737. Apparently it nosedived, gained altitude, and then nosedived again. Probably crashed due to the crew or getting hijacked. Regular 737s don't malfunction like that.

It really nosedived, gained altitude, and then nosedived again?

Holy s***, that must've been devastating for the passengers

737 too, happened with Ethiopia airlines as well, also a nosedive

They were cutting costs w their software to make more of a profit, yet they tried to blame the pilots for it, only a couple months ago have they accepted full responsibility for the crash

    Rip to the victims fr

Edit: peep this video about how Boeing had this same crash happen twice before, trying to cut costs to outcompete Airbus

those were Maxes though, this is the more common 800 which has been in the air for like 25 years (which makes it even scarier tbh)

  • Mar 22, 2022

but yeah Boeing are a scummy company

have you guys ever seen the internal messages between employees discussing the failed 737-Max when it was in development?

    s*** is hideous

I know the 737 maxes crashed because the software was faulty…but they retested and simulated for like a year. Any word if it was a software failure again?

Yeah but was it a similar software issue? Because on the max the computer thought the nose of the plane was rising so it would “readjust” and send it hurdling straight into the ground.

How are we supposed to know 1 day after the crash especially when the entire military industrial complex of the USA will want to protect Boeings reputation at all costs?

The faa will get the box within a few hours of the crash which should tell them what happened. But just like the article said, it’s weird that the plane stopped sending data 96 seconds before the crash
