does anyone know how this is legal? Im not familiar w copyright laws in games. Sega and the original creators of the game don’t seem to be involved, but it’s clearly the same character animation and everything.

the same artist who did the original soundtrack is on board so that’s sick

Sega may own the JSR IP but you can't own an art style or gameplay loop. Just like how Obsidian made Outer Worlds, which was clearly a fallout game and Bethesda couldn't do anything.

A huge part of what made JSRF so memorable was the music on it. It was a 10/10 soundtrack for the setting/gameplay

Based on what I’m hearing in the trailer I doubt this will live up to it but hoping for the best

Graphics are great though

All songs showed from the game have been stellar. Plus the OG himself is on the soundtrack. I have no worries about it at all
