Disc 2 is making this an album of the decade contender son
Not a single bad song theyāre all incredible lmao
Can I feel another way? Or are less and more the same?
AOTY by far. this s*** is heavenly. I love happier vibes in music.
havenāt finished listening to the album cuz i arrived at work before i could
im loving everything im hearing so far, and i canāt wait to hear that dijon track
album sounds great on first listen certain songs gonna have to go back to
yeah this is on par with for emma imo. fantastic albumā¦dude is on his prince s*** at times
This s*** is so good what the f***
Re:Stacks, Woods, Beth, 00000 million, Rabi, Thereās a Rhythm
he always kills it with the closers
I'll be there is amazing man
the one song on disc 2 with some spite and bite and roughness. s*** is sooo cool. some super weird and church-y chords
the little 'tell me more....or tell me nothing..' in the chorus is probably my fav moment on the album
ive never anything quite like this
far from my favorite by him but this truly feels special
melodically it isnt anything crazy but theres something about the arrangements that seems completely new, can't quite put my finger on it
I feel like there isnāt much love for the ep side since itās been out but those three songs are so amazing man. Speyside is forreal a top 5 song of his to me. Also Dijon come back we need you man. Day one is ridiculous
The melody on that prechorus on day one was like something straight off āabsolutelyā. Dijon killed that. Saw him open for bon iver a couple years back to collabing with him now. Pretty cool
Princeās 2015 and onwards era bassist credited on Day One and Iāll Be There
FROM DAY ONE

melodically it isnt anything crazy but theres something about the arrangements that seems completely new, can't quite put my finger on it
i feel you about this being something special
itās an amalgamation of all sorts of sounds but it also feels like a step forward towards something new
After a full day of bumping this on repeat + drinking some beers Iām ready to call this one of my favorite albums of the past few years.
Always loved Justin but something about this album is really striking a chord with me. Specifically Thereās a Rhythmn, there is such a beautiful feeling of balance in here. Itās almost like Justin is finally in a place where heās totally content with himself. Havenāt heard such an uplifting project in quite some time. Itās a beautiful full arc for the āBon Iverā project.
Second half is ass vs the first
He sounds more and more like Phil Collins over time imo
