how so?
EPs are not good for highly established artists. Albums work well for the greats. Not EPs.
This will not get love or reach as many people as it deserves because it isnt a full project

Not always. Blood Bank is an incredible EP from this guy and a pretty significant work in his discography.
(That being said, I think Sable is largely very good and doesn't have a ton of staying power compared to Blood Bank)

i think Justin is cool with it reaching who it reaches. seems like this was a project he had to do more for himself, he expands on this in his NY Times interview if you or anyone is more interested (use reader mode to avoid paywall)

i may tap in
but if there is a chance he is releasing EPs to build to an album id rather wait

I actually do agree/get this sentiment, but Justin in the interview pretty clearly says this is meant to be experienced on its own as a 3 song thing.

he pretty much shuts that notion down in the article too. says these 3 songs were all that it could be, nothing more nothing less. and it's a kind of "reset" for the Bon Iver project
listened twice last night but let's start the morning off with this before moving on to any other releases
i would like the feeling, i would like the feeling
i would like the feeling gone
cause i don't like the way it's, i don't like the way it's
i don't like the way it's looking...

okay i may lock in
S P E Y S I D E is heartbreaking to me, so i can only imagine for the people in Justin's life the words are directed to
okay i may lock in
That being said, I found the EP a bit underwhelming. I'm just defending the idea of an EP being a significant work.
these songs are therapeutic. songs to fall apart and rebuild to.
you can be remade, you can live again BEAUTIFUL
