    I’m here brother

  • damn this was a blast, i had a great time

Mark Ruffalo definitely was playing like a Trump/Elon Musk hybrid type character. S\*\*\* was hilarious

  • I liked this a lot! I feel like the marketing leaned into a more comedic side of Mickeys deaths but I felt like for the most part they were treated somberly which enhanced the movie alot. Not to say there isn’t a shortage of silliness to it, its got a lot of political allegories and dark humor throughout. I didn’t expect it to share a lot of the same themes as Okja, but it’s handled just as well here. Robert Pattinson is great as always, same with Naomi Ackie. I would’ve loved to see more Steven Yeun but I appreciated his scenes enough, he’s really good at playing an a******. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette stole the show though, I loved how over the top they were. Reminded me of how great a villain Jake Gyllenhaal was in Okja. I’d give this a solid 8/10, might even be higher whenever I get the chance to rewatch it. Can’t believe WB sat on this for so long

  • I didn’t like how the movie became more about the animals than mickey

Goddamn this movie was a mess. It was fun tho. And the performances were great.

I just feel like it tried to pack way too much story in something that would’ve worked more for me if it had been primarily focused on Mickey 17, 18 & Nasha shenanigans (pretty much the highlights)

This is how I feel 10000%

Movie started a little slow/boring with the backstory exposition of everything. But once Mickey 18 pulled up >>>>>>

I loved his version of Mickey and thought the movie struck gold when the whole 17, 18, Natasha dynamic happened. But unfortunately that portion of the film was short lived and not long after they get caught and the movie shifts to being about the animal “aliens” which I don’t think was a smart move. The movie was sold about there being multiple Mickeys and they have to try to not get caught. Idk why they didn’t lean more heavy into that? Also the theme of fear of death was so great but then that gets pushed to the back once they get caught. All that animal s\*\*\* becoming the focal point just didn’t do it for me at all.

Steven character kinda felt pointless to me. And the Kai character I’m not sure what her purpose was either, it’s like she was there and seemed to have some importance but then just randomly disappeared.
