I been watching all the promo interviews for this and he mentioned that majority of the actors in this film were all first time actors and a lot them were ppl like eddies assistant or ppl eddie plays basketball w in his local community

this like eddie huangs mid90. coming of age film w inspiration from personal life story w mostly unknown/first time actors for his debut + love letter to his city and fave sport and hip hop culture
