I need a TV series for East of Eden and Grapes of Wrath tbh.
Also if ASOIAF will ever be finished, I think a reboot cartoon/anime style adaptation could work better than a live-action one.
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
12-13 part series, Roots-esque epic
A Little Life
Limited series, HBO please do this
Xenogenesis series by Octavia Butler
3 Season order
Blood Meridian
I’m of the belief that a faithful adaption of this film is impossible. The extreme violence, racism and lack of redeeming characters are things that keep films from being made. I think the bio shock series had the same issues

It'd be an extremely difficult book to adapt well, I agree, but not impossible
Coens or PTA would kill it I think
This is kinda a difficult question since I think most IPs have already been exploited by movie studios and steaming platform. Like damn near everything seems to have been done already. And the s*** that hasn’t been done there’s already something similar already.

Eh I mean I think plenty of books have not been considered yet.
Like, is there a tv series for Mistborn or one for Malazan?
Nick Cutter's The Troop & The Deep would be sick horror movies. Infection and eldritch horror.
Jim Thompson's Pop 1280 in the hands of someone like the Bill Hader or Eli Roth would be incredible. Hilarious and disturbing little hard boiled crime thriller
Philip K D*** has had a ton of his work made into movies but Ubik is still free to adapt
Loved the Diadem book series when I was younger I wonder if they would hold up as a good YA movie franchise
Shantaram (been in development forever)
Cat's Cradle
War God by Graham Hancock (Hollywood needs more precolonial Mexican movies)
Bounty by George Saunders
1Q84
I want an Iliad movie or miniseries that is so accurate and faithful to the original that it’s like the studio built a time machine just so they could bring Homer to the present so he could make an Iliad movie
