Without a doubt. You’ll learn a specialized skill that only you can do, something that will never be obsolete. You’re almost guaranteed a job forever as there’s always work that needs to be done. Cities are always growing. Not to mention you join a union, who has your best interest in mind, and you’re easily making $46 dollars an hour and at the very least time and a half for any minute over your 40/week. Throw in health plans, dental plans, and, if you’re like me, the enjoyment of actually making something from raw materials. It’s rewarding
Probably went thru a trade school and got a contract.
Tile work doesn’t formally require a ticket of any sort, at least where I’m from. He probably just stumbled on the job
