Nah he’s missing the point because no permanent decision was made. No one was talking about gender reassignment surgery and this is what ZWade decided. Decisions and feelings can change if she decides regarding how she identifies and gender reassignment surgery/hormone therapy, etc. and that’s operating on the premise of whether you think she’s confused/that it’s a choice to begin with.

Whenever they become aware of that feeling. Different for every case but i’ve heard of it happening around that age on multiple occasions.

Age 9 isn’t that wild to explore the concept of your own gender. That includes straight people liking the opposite sex. You knew you liked girls at 9 right? Different situation, similar foundation.

Lucky you, well in my case I started developing in that area as early as 7. Even earlier in one specific case. I’m lucky enough to be born in the right body but if I weren’t, that awakening would be a similar process at a similar time.

There's enough research on smoking. There's enough research on the suicide rates and causes of death for trans and lgbtq people. I think the big worry is the surgery when that wasn't mentioned and shouldn't be discussed except with the parents

They don't alter kids bodies permanently when they claim gender dysphoria at a young age. They're prescribed puberty blockers so that puberty is delayed and they have more time to.make a decision on transitioning. After puberty passing while trans becomes harder and a lot of negative effects come with that.

A big big majority of transgender experience dysphoria very early. A very small minority regret the decision to transition. All this 'concern' about transgender kids does the opposite for their wellbeing
