anyone have recommendations for boots made for 'apocalyptic' situations? (not military, but something strong, resistant)

Toughest boots you can find are probably gonna be milsurp. There are a lot of styles what do you have against them. Other than that maybe hoka or some other goretex shoe maybe

yeah that's what I dont know, what if things like goretex or other possible brands that I do not know of are better than the military 'brand'

I dont have any experience with goretex shoes but repair wise a good pair of boots are superior

Anyway wheres my Au fam

these are like 85$, called mil-tec military boots, with cordura and thinsulate

these are 180$, called chiruca, with goretex and vibram sole (whatever that means)

I have no idea what to do

Idk where you plan on taking them but if water is involved I'd get the goretex. Vibram is the brand of sole. I cant say forsure but i think vibram soles are replaceable if that matters to you
