So I’m rewatching Who is America rn, and while I thought it was funny when I first watched it, I didn’t think it was quite as genius as da Ali g show. But now that I’m rewatching it, I definitely do think it’s up there with Sachs’s best work. So many hilarious and insanely creative segments

I guarantee you no one changed their vote because of Borat 2, so much of that movie defeated its own point too, like wow these rural hicks are so intolerant, they let a man who could barely speak English live with them for weeks because he was having a hard time in the country

Plus the Giuliani thing was obvious manipulative editing, they replayed the footage over and over to make it look like he was jerking off, as a man who thinks Rudy's a disgusting pig, he was legit adjusting his shirt to disconnect his mic in that footage

Negative-ass post but the movie did have some great jokes, it just frustrates me that he takes a very superior liberal 'look at these conservative freaks' approach and calls out Zuckerberg for fake news when most of his IRL stuff is manipulated in editing for maximum effect. I agree with most of what Cohen has to say but he's going about so much of it in the wrong way and is a gigantic hypocrite
