The Bored Ape Yacht Club's creator will start selling more than $300 million worth of metaverse land plots on Saturday.

Yuga Labs plans to sell digital non-fungible token "deeds" to virtual real estate in its new game "Otherside." Each deed costs 305 ApeCoins, or about $6,000. The NFT's give buyers access to a supply of up to 55,000 plots of metaverse landscape.

I’m already an investor in the space. It’s fun to consider all the possibilities. I’m a little salty on Bored Ape because it’s the same type of person who gatekeep in the corporate world. The same way Nike wouldn’t want to work with me, neither will these people. So I’m slowly learning and empowering myself to create my own thing.

It makes no sense. What the hell is the point of it. The digital realm is not finite. I can create a digital landscape larger than the surface area of the world right now by loading up a minecraft world if I wanted to. Who wants to buy some real estate?

And that should be one of the coolest aspects of it. But as with everything else, greed poisons the water.
