Imagine the blowback for the entire organization when this employee goes to a media outlet mid season about how the Celtics didn’t appropriately handle the situation by not taking action. It would scream sexism and favoritism. That’s a big enough distraction to jeopardize their entire season.

After watching the press conference, the FO did the right thing. They are a class organization and they need to maintain a standard that professionalism applies to everyone. This isn’t a desperate organization like the Browns. They probably didn’t outright fire the guy because of how much he is respected by the players.
