you know who for sure knows ball is brad stevens, he was an elite coach, has been an elite GM, so if he sees something in joe I’m inclined to at least give him a real shot. last year were unique circumstances he was thrust into the fire outta nowhere with no coaching staff. I’m willing to give him a chance under normal circumstances + a year of experience + a co-sign by one of the best basketball minds in the world rn probably.

Yes and as the GM brad has to worry about financial concerns as well. he can't just go off firing and hiring coaches and the sad reality is joe being bad doesn't mean theres a sudden surge of good candidates out there

that brad extended him at all means he must have believe in him for some reason. maybe he’ll be wrong but I don’t think brad has really made any bad moves as GM so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with joe and the KP trade. we’ll see how it goes though. if KP stays healthy I’m optimistic but I’ll acknowledge the injury concerns could also ruin the season if they come back up.
