Vaccine mandates are lowkey bullshit and I'm vaccinated
Vaccinated people can still pass the virus on to other vaccinated people who may eventually pass it on to someone unvaccinated. It's silly politics. An antibody test or very recent negative covid test to enter the venue/restaurant makes far more sense.
What do you think the purpose of a vaccine is
orwell can go f*** himself lmfao
being communist gives u a pass to be a d*** now?
What do you think the purpose of a vaccine is
To not contract the virus at all, and it continously fails. I'm sure someone will respond that it is to reduce symptoms and death, which, yea, sure, I understand that it does that. That's not efficient enough imo. And acting like that is the answer to a pandemic in a nation where far too many people will never be interested in getting the vaccine and a very, very small amount can't get the vaccine, won't work.

You must not know what communism is about.

I don’t understand why you’re saying it’s not enough lol. People who want additional protection get it and there’s even booster shots. The same people who don’t think this is enough will never believe it’s enough because they keep moving the goalposts and making excuses.

Quarantining was, and is, the answer until a more efficient vaccination is found.
"B-b-b-bUt iT'S tOo LaTe fOr tHaT"
Nah. It's not. We have the ability to feed and shelter everyone in this country for a solid month, we just choose not to.

you realize the vaccine almost guarantees not being hospitalized right?
the answer is in an effective treatment
based on what you're saying we should lock down every year for the flu lmao

Well, correct me if Im wrong, but the flu vaccine works effectively?
Like, if you get the flu vaccine that year, you don't get sick?
And yes, I said that in my initial reply to dude about the symptoms dropping.

flu vaccine is 40-60% effective, depends on the year
flu vaccine is 40-60% effective, depends on the year
Well, if 30k - 60k people die a year from the flu, something should be handled differently about it for sure if the vaccination effectiveness is that low, at least until there is a more effective flu vaccine that eradicates the virus and its variants
And in no way am I saying that the lives of those who pass away from the flu are any less of value than those 800k who have passed from covid, but covid's death rate is quite higher than the seasonal flu, so it should definitely take further measures than what is taken with the flu.

the reality in life is that things have a certain level of risk
car accidents
smoking
d**** in general
fast food
it's just impossible to make everything 100% safe
society slowly accepts a level of risk, it's not a bad thing, it's life

well it has been higher since it's new and we haven't had a great treatment regimen yet
we've been focused on prevention rather than treatment

the sheer stupidity of this jesus christ
"the vaccine prevents death, not efficient enouhg imo"

This is not seeing the forest from the trees. It's, in fact, focusing in and saying something I did not explicitly say:
"vaccination preventing death isn't good enough" never said that lmao
You're missing the point if people are UNWILLING to get the vaccine no matter what. The only way an inefficient vaccine works, is if all people get the vaccine. That won't be the case in a country like ours where people are given a choice. So, the other option, and even better one, is quarantining. We literally saw the lowest numbers ever during the lockdown. And if we had stayed on it stricter and for more time, we would not be in the situation we are in now.
People, especially on the right, do not, and will never trust the government, and they are correct not to (mostly for the wrong reasons), even if the vaccine might be one of the few times they should.

Of course life has risks
(fast food and cigarettes are a choice tho, so I don't see those as "risks" when we know the harm, or should at some point at least, come across some information that makes us aware of the harm)
But they make safety features for vehicles. There's tons of laws in place. And yea, still there are a ton of deaths on the road. But even this is still apples and oranges when it comes to a pandemic.
I'm saying unless all people are vaccinated (and they won't be), then having a vaccine mandate for certain venues and restaurants within a city is ultimately silly because the unvaccinated will still ultimately get ill from vaccinated people passing the virus to one another, hence making it silly to have vaccinated requirements for places, and antibody test or recent negative covid test make more sense.

because car accidents = pandemic
you niggas are laughably stupid holy s***
Liberals start talking to you like you're on the right when you're further left than they are. It's insane.
