Nothing in the movie was better than the first and its main character was gone.

the writing, performances, story and effects were all better imo but the action and good feeling generally weren’t there which probably outweighs a lot of that to general audiences

BP1 doesn’t have a fight scene like this

Everything except the ending was better. Ending was absolute dogshit

It didn't need to. The emotional weight behind every fight scene in BP1 makes all of them 100x better.

Black Panther 1 final fight between Tchalla and Killmonger looked like a ps2 cutscene, but outside of that, movie was pretty good overall. I would say that the one thing BP2 has over 1 is Angela Bassett's performance in the sequel. If THAT one scene where she goes off doesn't give you chills idk man

That scene was good, but the scene in BP1 where Okoye and Nakia discuss their loyalty rivals it. A rarity of great acting (not just good) in Marvel movies.
