Seeing Plant/Benavidez is a PPV just lets me know that PBC/Showtime is in bad shape. They can't afford to put anything on normal Showtime it seems. This would be the perfect fight to put on Showtime with Garcia/Davis coming up,SMH.

I think Plant/Benavidez is worth paying for, but generally speaking thats more of a co-main fight.

Its a $50 PPV but it'll be $75 cause Plant price went up after Canelo and Benavidez wants to (understandably) get paid for such a top tier fight. Its worth it for the hardcore boxing fan but at the same time,when will the hardcore fan catch a break. They also barely (if ever) break even on PPVs like this cause no one buys em,i think Ruiz/Ortiz did like,39K buys,how are they making money/giving fighters their bonuses(their not)?

With the expectation of Garcia/Davis being $85-$90 on PPV,Benavidez-Plant would've been a perfect promotional vehicle for that superfight,on Showtime or FOX.

Davis/Garcia actually happening was so needed,theres so much on the line in that fight and theres so many questions that won't get answered until the fight is actually in the ring. Im expecting Tank to get booed like crazy and Garcia to be the "Knight In Shining Armor".

If Garcia beats Tank,he becomes a full blown celebrity,if Tank beats Garcia,he reaches that super villian/hood superstar status,he'll never be as big Floyd imo,but his infamy will rise alot. Just an interesting matchup that needed to happen for both guys to progress in their careers.

Benavidez/Plant is an excellent fight,I know I complained about it but,i may end up ordering it,cause I haven't some good boxing in a minute. I hope Spence/Crawford can happen in the Fall,but i doubt it.
