I mean, it was a perfect business strategy and essentially made his fortune.

Floyd is the best businessman in combat sports history.

But holy s***, the second someone loses they become a bum. It's sickening lmao. GGG is a bum now. Wilder a bum. Mikey Garcia lol etc,.

Lomachenko was able to avoid this though.

  • Feb 27, 2020

    Shawn Porter too.

Speaking of, Shawn don't get enough credit, his footwork is crazy and he has given everyone he lost to a tough ass fight.

  • stackman

Jay Deas is probably a Yes man, exactly the last thing wilder needs, telling what he wants too hear and instead of what he needs too hear. Mark Breland was a former boxer and champ. And has been in fights and knocked out before. So I’m sure he had the right judgment in stopping a fight

Wilder gonna activate the rematch clause, let his ego take over, surrond himself with yes men and get rediculed even worse next time

People don't even know what a bum is boxing. They call any1 a bum to discredit a fighter they don't like lol.

Boxing got different levels/ class of fighters.

Who calls ggg or mikey a bum, ggg already had a few doubters but most still at least defend him in that he should at least have a win against canelo and everyone knew mikey was too small to fight spence and gassed him up for taking the challenge

Obviously calling him a flat out bum is over the top but it's not difficult to comprehend that someone whose boxing skills have always been in question with a garbage resume finally faced an opponent better than some geriatric cuban and ended up having his whole face painted by a "pillow puncher" was never that good in the first place

Guy got schooled in the first fight after cherry picking against a 40% fury and straight up abused in the rematch but nah that doesnt warrant criticism for a world champ I guess

wilder is not a bum, but the way he lost does make it look like he was massively overhyped. he had 0 success in the fight and just got beaten up. no answers at all. worse than AJ when he lost to ruiz.

Fury resume about as good as Wilder before last Saturday night.

People hyped up ortiz, some to even beat Wilder. Now people don't want to give credit to Wilder.

This is what happens in this sport with fans always change their opinions after a fight to discredit some1 win smh.

Beside the klitschko win, fury resume isn't good.

AJ has the best heavyweight resume.

In fairness, the Klitschko win is the most significant heavyweight win of this generation and nothing any other contemporary heavy could do can top it. Even if it was a boring fight.

Great win but that's one win.
Fury doesn't even have a title defend, he needs a Title reign. His resume isn't good.

Wilder and AJ have multiple title defenses.

what fight do you think i was talking about? why would i be talking about the first fight in the context of this discussion?

why would i say the way he lost made him look bad? he didn't lose int eh first fight. that first fight can now be considered a terribly out of shape fury too.

It sounds stupid because this is the second time they've fought.

    you mean this:

''wilder is not a bum, but the way he lost does make it look like he was massively overhyped. he had 0 success in the fight and just got beaten up. no answers at all. worse than AJ when he lost to ruiz.''

why? in what world would i be talking about the first fight? i said wilder lost. wilder didn't lose in the first fight. we are discussing the rematch in here aren't we? why are you discussing the first fight?

whilst it is the second time they fought, the first time was clearly a very gimped fury. fury was not in good shape in the first fight at all and had just come of a huge d*** fueled lay off.

  • Feb 27, 2020

    AJ

    Andy Ruiz Jr
    Alexander Povetkin
    Joseph Parker
    Carlos Takam
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Eric Molina
    Dominic Breazeale
    Dillian Whyte

    wilder

    Luis Ortiz
    Dominic Breazeale
    Bermane Stiverne
    Chris Arreola
    Artur Szpilka
    Eric Molina

    Fury

    Deontay Wilder
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Dereck Chisora
    Steve Cunningham
    who else?
    Kevin Johnson?
    Christian Hammer?
    Otto Wallin?

so fury got not title defenses and according to these "boxing experts", wilder was never good.

Fury has one great win, beat a cruiserweight and chisora.
