Regis has the same flaw as James Kirkland, minus the chin, he’s a aggressive southpaw, which means he’s vulnerable too any good boxer with a size/reach advantage, because all they would really have too do is step too the side and time him coming in and land the right hand or left hook

Name me one successful/elite, southpaw that fought in a aggressive/ pressure style, I’ll wait. Most southpaws are slick counter punchers by nature. Even Pacman isn’t really a brawler, He’s a actually a very smart/ experienced boxer that can be aggressive. But he’s a better boxer/counterpuncher, than he’s given credit for

I agree It would be tough for a south paw to be an aggressive brawler because their head is facing towards the right hook everytime they fight an orthodox fighter, which is pretty much every fight. This would wear them down through time whereas orthodox are always going against orthodox and dont get as many right hands to the face. Prograis was seeing right hands all night by Taylor. Victor Ortiz got banged up for being a southpaw brawler and he didnt last too long. I cant really think of many elite southpaw brawlers, probably a bit of Hagler in his biggest fights

Even though I really liked him in his prime, any serious top, 20 guy around his weight, steam rolls him, because his age and weak legs, at his best his style relied on speed and athleticism. He has good power, but isn’t necessarily a one punch knock out artist. He would be okay fighting similar level opponents, like he did tonight. But avoid any top fighter from 147-160.

Well, Smith has been shown he can be out boxed, in the past. And alverez is one of the best/ skillful boxers in that weight class and has good power/speed. But smith did look really good in his last fight

Damm that was one of the best knock out, upset, and comeback in a long time. It looked like whyte was getting ready too eventually break down and finish Alexander, and he looked older and slower, but he was able too use his experience and land a very good/perfect punch
