why can't boxers ever be honest man?! No the f*** you did not win the fight.
Of course he thinks he won, Hes in there fighting. It wasn't a blow out, and he most likely just remembers the highlights of his performance in the later half of the fight
These sports center announcers talking bout it wasnât even close
Whereâs max at man
PR vs MEXICO is the money fight. Lopez vs Berchelt
Teo not Rican tho, he's Honduran lol
I just wanna see a rematch id love see how both of them adjust after going 12 rounds with each other

Really gotta give Lopez his props for that 12th round I thought loma was gonna take over that round but Lopez tightened up and took it to loma thatâs how to take a belt from a great one like loma

Iâm talking bout the sportscenter guys that came in for a sec
But Andre literally had a draw but commended Lopez on that last round.
Turned it off did Max show up?

Itâs just disappointing that that effort was literally meaningless at the end there

Oh I thought you meant the actual commentary those other niggas just show highlights I doubt they got the chance to actually watch and nah max hasnât said anything
I didn't keep a personal tally, but I did polls for a chat I was in. Every round got 20+ responses. So here are the results.
VL: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
TL: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12
Lopez 7-5 aka 115-113
I found those to be fair results. The chat was actually outraged at the decision though likely just from the 1 scorecard.
One of the greatest wins of my lifetime. A justifiable win. Here were my 2 minute immediate thoughts on the action.
Teo won when he advanced behind the jab and played body work into upstairs openings. Loma started taking extra steps around that body work on wider angles. Instead of cutting around, he advanced straight forward behind his feints. He punished Teo's jab to neutralize it. Teo was weaker going backwards. He couldn't move his feet and angle out. He wouldn't clinch. His father's advice to push was a band aid. He would pull back on his heels, Loma would get foot to foot and unload combos. Eventually he could angle around off this for real punishment.
Teo needs to work on clinching. Great fighters can smother inside work if they can't move laterally from it. He could also meet Loma's step forward, head low.
I'm curious on rewatch how the rounds Loma won look in isolation. Sometimes if a fighter is too dominant, when his opponent does better we kind of emphasize that as them winning those stretches.
Historic fight. Really hope people don't obsess over a bad scorecard. It doesn't matter.

That is a pretty accurate poll.
IMO the right score card
Result was fair. Loma def deserves a rematch though

I think both could benefit from a tune up fight in between.
Loma was inactive for a year before this fight. Some of that extra slow start could have been rust.
Teo needs to test out ways to work inside. He also deserves something for the greatest win I've ever seen lol.
Loma vs Davis at 130 plz
feel like Loma was close to a knockdown in the 11th
They bout to f*** loma lmao
