It was entertaining but, not a good fight. Callum only won the first round. He put up a fight the first 6 rounds but went into survival mode after. You could see him checking the clock consistently. No game plan, just the same ol Callum Smith. He arguably lost his last fight to a shorter guy and what do you know? Canelo is fighting him next. I’ll give Canelo credit for fighting Floyd but he knew Floyd was going to retire soon so he took the chance while he could and got schooled.
You could also argue that floyd took the canelo fight when canelo was green. Getting schooled by mayweather isn't exactly the worst thing that could happen to you.
I like Canelo to by the way but it's irritating as a fan of the sport seeing him not fighting the top fighters.
Like almost every boxer ever
Canelo in his prime right now hurts Floyd tbh, there’s a reason why Floyd boxing YouTubers now
Lmao obviously there’s a reason why -Mayweather is 43 years old and has been professionally retired for over 5 years
Billy got a shot fr if the judges aren’t shady (like is always the case with Canelo)
I think his ship has sailed. All those times bullying prostitutes and having pub fights delayed his shots of fighting bigger names. I think he can easily unify at 168 against BJS or Plant.
But if he goes up to 175 he’ll look tiny against Beterbiev.
Damn smiths arm is looking like mine after teanna trump started shooting again after prison release
Lmao
That size difference s*** everyone talked about was so overblown. He was just taller and longer, not actually bigger,he was actually an easier target for Canelo cause of his tallness because he lacked head movement. Canelo came in and popped him with a jab whenever he wanted.
Callum was another one of those dudes that needed Canelo to fight his fight in order to do anything significant to him.

Yeah I’m just assuming Billy is at his peak in the hypothetical. Reality is different tho
anyone here ever wonder how dmitry Pirog's career wouldve been like if he didnt get injured and retire?
I didn’t hear anything wrong with want Andrade said. Yeah he’s corny but how would you feel when boxers been ducking him for over 5 years now including Canelo? Canelo hasn't fought a southpaw since 2014 and since then, all his fights been cherry picks.
How were either of the GGG fights cherry picked? Pretty sure GGG was favorite in both fights

What was GGG’s last fight prior to the 1st Canelo fight?

Jacobs who had just defended 4 times
Stop this nonsense. GGG was widely considered top 5 if not #2 p4p at the time.

GGG arguably lost that fight and looked like s*** against Jacobs. How old was GGG when the first Canelo fight toke place?

Why do you keep asking irrelevant questions?
it doesn't matter if GGG was 50 when they fought. he was still the 2nd best p4p fighter during their fights
You can only fight the people in your generation

Yeah there’s a reason GGG isn’t willing to fight outside of 160 lbs even when he could generate massive events at 168 and 175....
and Jacobs, Derevyanchenko, and Canelo showed why he won’t do that

Good fighter but idk how he’d perform vs guys like Sergio Martinez, Paul Williams, or Kelly Pavlik. Who knows.
Kinda crazy how no one’s talking about how the Logan Paul/Mayweather fight still hasn’t sold a million buys and it’s still $24.99
I feel like this fight won’t happen, this was suppose to sell like crack

So, you're the type of person who believes what other people tell you. Noted.

If his shoulder roll, head movement and footwork carried over against the top fighters then he would've beat all the people mentioned easily. Even switching stances constantly was mind blowing to watch. He beat the s*** out of a game Jacobs mentally, psychically and skillfully. Fighting Paul and Kelly would've been interesting because of their height. Dude was chess player and looked up to Floyd and Sugar Ray. His style consisted of them while also coming forward and putting pressure sort of like James Toney or Pretty Boy Floyd with that Russian punching power. I honestly think he would've became one the greatest middleweights of all time. One of the biggest what if's in boxing. Even Joe Rogan who is a casual boxing fan has mentioned him. It's sad what happened to him and even Paul Williams. As a hardcore fan it hurts to never know what they could've been as their careers progressed.
