Ryan Garcia could be the next big draw in boxing. DLH/ Mayweather level draw.... but first, he needs to learn how to move his head.

Ryan should take notes from his homie Canelo.

I just had a Pacquiao marathon and I am convinced that he has one of the most entertaining/electrifying styles of all time as well as one of the most entertaining careers in terms of wars in the ring...those Morales, Barrera, Marquez series of matches were OD wild.

I truly think prime Mayweather and Pacquiao are a whole nother level above the likes of Spence and Crawford

Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia to be ordered by the WBC.

If Ryan can beat Haney than I believe he has a legit shot at beating Davis.

Davis seen that Campbell fight and feels confident he can knock this kid out. Cool to see he actually wants to make the fight.

Tuck in your elbows, and turn your upper body a bit more sideways when fighting in long distance (straight punches, longer hooks and sometimes long distance uppercuts)
Your squared up upper body positioning in the video is more suited for close combat/in fighting (uppercuts, short hooks) and is making you a big target in longer distances.

I can see you mimicked Tyson's style a bit, but with your body type i would study russian boxers more. Not a bad start tho. Imma find some links for you

Yea it's one of the most common beginner mistakes, so don't worry it'll come naturally with time. But try focusing on your right elbow resting on the side of your belly/against your ribs. And round your back a little, it'll make you a smaller target and put you in a better position to defend AND attack from.
Your lead hand do not need to rest on your ribs in long distance/middle distance, but once in close you need to tuck it in.

Getting on the inside of a taller boxer you really need to be taught in practice. But i'd say footwork is your number one priority there. Working angles and not only attacking in a straight line. You'll also need more head movement and keeping em busy with your jab and feints. There's a lot more you can do to get in close, but start with your footwork.

I did start mma before these lockdowns(uk based) and all gyms around me have been essentially shut for a year so its been frustrating. I always used to spar with my friends though and i have a heavy bag also at home.

I feel you. I don't box anymore but not being able to train whatever sport you're into must suck.

At least with a heavybag the possibilities are damn near endless

Loosen the grip in ur hands and almost completely let go of the grip at the full extent of your punch, a punch is more of a slap. (Riddick Bowe taught me this when he worked at my first gym). Also you’re punching with your arms, gotta pivot and/or twist your upper body with every single punch (except the jab).

Try sitting back on your right leg a lil more. That way you'll generate more power in your punches.

his name is still worth something in boxing. broner is one more loss away from being a stepping stone fighter like Zab Judah.
