idk what i would if my father looked at me with such disgust
Gotta feeling JCC Sr won’t be on speaking terms with his son for a good while
Inoue too damn good, need to see him against Rigo and Casimero and if he wins thats def top 2-3 p4p no?
Barrios vs Davis is gonna be a great fight but I can see Davis just having way too much heart for Barrios. Davis got that early Mike Tyson type demeanor and there’s a reason for that lol.
I lowkey think 15rd championship fights should return in boxing tbh. Only on special occasions tho like a big PPV fight or what not.

Yea, I ain’t picking nobody that fights Gervonta

Davis street hardness mixed with his boxing ability is a lethal combo. You seen how he went 0-100 on Santa Cruz. I truly believe Gervonta has the ability to simply out-tough Barrios, especially if the fight comes down to just trading blows.

Reality is that boxers today hit way harder than they did 50+ years ago with better overall nutrition and gym availability from a young age..., and another reason defensive boxing has risen.. 15 rounds may be overkill for the guys today.
IMO a better approach to a longer/more exciting match is to make the championship rounds worth 11 or 12 points. Pretty much a fighter gets an extra point in the championship rounds if they win the round, forcing fighters to fight HARDER in the last few rounds.

That could work with close fights but what happens when a fight is a straight shut out? Imagine someone getting a 12-8 rd
corners know when their fighters are getting beat and need knockouts but sheesh. As far as close fights, that would definitely force a lot of fighters to fight a more strategic fight in the last rds.
It’ll probably make fighters who know their kinda down and getting outboxed in the middle of a fight(like the 6th rd)try harder for the KO before it gets to the championship rds where they could definitely get to the point of no return.
I been seeing a lot of “biggest puncher” lists on Twitter and tbh a lot of ppl are really downplaying Anthony Joshua’s power...

I agree. I just came up with the idea when I saw boxers who are clearly losing; just coasting the rest of the fight without even trying in the later rounds. To me that’s one of the most irritating things in boxing
