This is a very opaque movie, I couldn't imagine having a fully formed opinion on it immediately after watching
Was not ready for that rvpe scene
Im almost done with it now and wtf is this last 45 minutes
also did Harry rvpe Lazslos niece???
Yea
And it’s also kinda implied his dad did the same to him, with how he reacts when his dad is confronted by lazlow’s wife for what happened. He jumps to defend, doesn’t even take time to process it, angrily defends him instinctually
Brady said he didn’t think of that when writing it but he likes it and believes it to make sense and that it’s now canon because that is what it would be if that happened

Damn I kinda guessed from how the scene implied it. And f*** that makes a lot of sense too
The monologue by the Italian man in the fog by the marble stones was so surreal. It was so interesting that I didn’t really follow what it meant
Favorite shot was def Attila in the dark delivering the bad news
Lowkey that was the best part
Need that new movie that he’s doing to be like that for 2+ hours
the s***scenes in this were wild Lord almighty
I read a bad synopsis of this and that really ruined the viewing experience for me.
I read that he was a Jew that was doing bad s*** to the Jews and then escaped. Kept on waiting for that to get exposed.
But still a beautiful movie
watched until the intermission gonna finish it tomorrow
trailer made me think this was gonna be some boring historical s*** but im really liking it so far
why the intermission 40 secs long🤣🤣
vod plebs will never understand the ethereal experience of the 15 minute intermission :jordanlaff3:
damn wish I saw this🔥🔥
It 100% was are you serious? Barry Jenkins is over here crying feeling like a sell out because he just made an entire CGI movie.
crying after he made the movie
mfs really love to be victims
I do think actors ideally should be capable of speaking 2-3 languages fluidly. Ideally it’d be taught and emphasized in performing art programs. But it’s hard enough to act in English as a native speaker so maybe that’s not a reasonable expectation.
So in my opinion the use of “AI” in this manner is great and innovative.
capable of speaking 2-3 languages and that been thought in school is crazy

Why? It’d be a skill that’s applicable in many different fields.
what's really impressive about this movie is that it was shot with a 9 mil budget🤯🤯

going to acting school is already tough on its own. Having to know 2 other languages and speak natively with the accents and all is a tough ask lol

I mean in America at least, a foreign language is already a. requirement from elementary to highschool in most curriculums around the country. But I already acknowledged this probably isn’t feasible, at least currently imo. People don’t approach acting like that in this country.
Can't stop thinking about it
That’s cus you’ve been brutalized brother![]()
